Bad times don’t last forever – growing through pain: Keeping Up Courage Part 3

At the change of every season, we are always reminded that like the seasons there is a time for everything.

Moving into spring means warm sun, bright flowers and birds singing which for me is a nice change from the dreary winter.

The last few weeks I have had a series of bad days. Just one thing after another going wrong.

BUT The good thing about life is that it always moves forward. Forward is forward. Forward means moving away from the bad times. Life goes on and in time those bad experiences just become a memory. It may not be the direction we want right now but this is forward, this is progress and this will lead us somewhere beautiful.

Another lesson I have been reminded of through this journey … is that there is beauty through pain. All types of pain makes us grow and learn so much about other people and ourselves.

These things and times make us more aware of others and in turn more loving. These horrible things make us who we are.

Like the bright flowers and animals hibernating in winter, it is now time to come out of our caves and bloom along with the rest of them.

So I challenge you to think – what unpleasant experience has made you so much better? comment and share it or message me I would love to hear ❤️

  1. I love this post, especially the idea of blooming along with everything else at springtime! “Forward is forward” is something I’m going to hold close and remember through the tough times, thank you. Chronic illness has definitely brought a lot of beauty through the pain and changed my perspective for the better.
Take care, I hope Spring brings you some kidder days.
